Last year I started a tiny version of my series „Come out and play“ as giveaways for friends and family. Being small scale they allow me to make at least a bit of art on busy work days.
This series is made by layers and layers of oil paint and ink and in this case a thread soaked in red ink used as printing material here. The red thread is a recurring motiv supposed to mean ways of connection.
This one has been a special gift for some lovely people. I like the idea of my paintings being in places that I am longing to be.
