Was eins ward und innen. Das Marsyasprojekt
„Das Marsyasprojekt“ (The Marsyasproject) was an arty collaboration on the myth of Marsyas in six pieces arranged as poems by Flora von Herwarth, piano suites by Alexander Kokic Schmidt and paintings by Sandy Lang. Deviding the myth in six pieces followed the fate of Marsyas after finding the flute and challenging the God Apollo in a musical competition which leads to Marsyas being flayed and becoming a river. The collaboration emphasized on the idea of symbiosis and metamorphosis as consequence of being an artist. The project was displayed in a soireé of exhibition, concert and reading in January 2020. Hearts for Heart’s Sake
The group exhibition at Artery Prague curated by Özlem Akin and Matous Horal was meant to be a visceral response to February 14th and its naive and simplified approach to love with an empasis of the carnal, frightning and dark inspirations of romance. The exhibition displayed 12 international artists from February 9th to 24th February 2018 and showed two of Sandy Langs paintings.

Thinking Baroque / Pensar Barroco
The group exhibition curated by the Moving Curational Project Art-Map Braga aimed at artworks which evoked the baroque way of thinking. It displayed diverse approaches of international artists which were exhibited in various historical buildings in the portugese town of Braga. The exhibition showed four paintings by Sandy Lang in the Casa dos Crivos and durated from 22nd July to 9th September 2017.

Entourage of Light
The solo exhibition „Entourage of Light“ displayed eleven paintings of Sandy Lang at the former arty bar „poor and literate“ in Berlin 2016. The exhibition title refers to the artists approach of using dark and light elements in her paintings as symbolic for the human condition of ambivalence with a strong emphasis on light and thus: hope. The exhibition durated from April to June 2016.
